Floodplain Data

Taylor Engineering has developed a custom GIS toolset, the Taylor Tackle Box © 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 Taylor Engineering, Inc. and the Taylor Coastal Analyst © 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 Taylor Engineering, Inc., that accompanies hydrologic and hydraulic models to perform automated floodplain modeling and mapping. Using these tools, we can delineate basins and floodplain boundaries as well as generate BFEs and cross sections. With these custom applications, we can also incorporate existing flood study information to update and redraw detailed floodplain boundaries efficiently.
